The product is used in pre-desulphurization of molten iron. It has the advantages of high efficiency, less consumption and stability, especially for the production with quick rhythm, short cycle. The consumption of the product in molten iron pretreatment is about 3.8kg/ton iron in No.1 Steel Plant of BaoSteel. The product can make the rate of desulphurization more than 80% , and [S]≤0.004% in molten iron.

The product is used in pre-desulphurization of molten iron. It has the advantages of high efficiency and stability. The consumption of the product is 11kg/ton iron. The product can make the rate of desulphurization more than 80% , and [S]≤0.003% in molten iron.

The product is used for covering the molten steel’s surface in tundish while concasting. It can preserve heat, avoid secondary oxidation and adsorb non-metal inclusion. The consumption of the product is 0.45kg/t.s.

The product is used for covering the molten steel’s surface of tundish while concasting the high purity super-low-carbon steel. It can preserve heat, avoid secondary oxidation and adsorb non-metal inclusion on the surface of molten steel. When the product is used for concasting in 300t LD system of BaoSteel, the average of carbon picking up in IF steel is 3ppm, the maximum carbon picking up reaches 6ppm. The consumption is 0.45kg/t.s.

The product is put into the molten steel while tapping from electric furnace. It can make good condition for LF’s refining with its effect of washing, desulphurizing and generating of new slag. Its desulphurization rate reaches about 30% when the product is used in the big electric furnace of BaoSteel.

The product is added to the ladle while tapping. It has actions of desulphurization of molten steel and passivation of slag, and prevent the molten steel from resulphurization and rephosporation while tapping. It makes the desulphurization rate to 20% in the condition of 7.77x10-3% [S] when the product is used in No.2 Steel Plant of BaoSteel. The consumption is about 3kg/ton steel.

The product can generate foam while refining in LF, makes electrode work in shielded arc mode, and reduces the heat loss. Meanwhile it can increase the life of ladle lining and cover, and has high desulphurizing effect. The foamed slag’s shielded arc is in good condition when the product is used in BaoSteel. The product can make [S] of finished steel reduce to less than 0.004% with the effect of the product. The desulphulization rate is more than 70% and very stable. When used together with Electric furnace slagging material, the effect of the product is much better.

The product is used in reducing the viscosity of molten iron slag caused by spraying magnesium powder to molten iron in deep desulphurization, and solves the problem of slagging-off. When deep desulphurization, the quantity of adding to the 300ton ladle of BaoSteel is 150-200kg. The product makes slagging-off convenient, in the mean time it can keep heat and avoid heat loss while treating.

The product is added to the surface of molten steel after tapping from LD. It can reduce the oxygen content of concasting low-carbon aluminum killed steel to improve the purity of finished steel. The average of total oxygen content in CC tundish is 30ppm without the phenomenon of resulphurization and reposphoration when the product is used in No.1 Steel Plant of BaoSteel. The consumption is 3kg/ton steel.
